Business Link

Studies indicate that up to 75% of all new jobs stem from existing businesses and that companies expand in communities where their needs are understood and met. That's why we're so committed to serving the businesses in our community.

Launched under Thrive’s leadership, Business Link is the Madison Region’s first formal business retention program. Business Link builds relationships between employers and our region's economic development professionals and enables participants to analyze real-time business data and react in ways that encourage business growth.

Our economic development professionals conduct interviews with local business leaders using the software program Sychronist to manage interview data, identify growth industries, and track contacts and referral programs.

Through Business Link, economic development professionals are better able to assist existing businesses through the cultivation of strong relationships and the discovery of specific opportunities and challenges within the broader context of regional assets and trends.
